This 1,500-acre national marine park encompasses Curaçao's underwater terrain from New Port to the island's southeastern tip. With restrictions on fishing and other intrusions, the park contains Curaçao's most pristine coral reef and marine environment, as well as numerous ship wrecks, some dating back almost 100 years. Not surprisingly, it is a haven for divers and snorkelers.

The aquarium offers a combination of information, education and interaction. Throughout the day there are several tours and presentations where you can watch and touch the animals and learn more about them.
