Zoëtry Villa Rolandi is situated on Isla Mujeres on a privileged location on the island. Guests will enjoy scenic views of Cancun hotel zone from the resort.

Local points of interest:

Cancun Hotel Zone – The Cancun hotel zone is 25 minutes away and is accessible by ferry. 5 miles/ 25 minutes.

MUSA Cancun Underwater Museum Aquaworld – An underwater museum promoting the conservation of the reefs. It offers guests the change to snorkel or scuba dive up close with some of the Caribbean’s most amazing creatures. 5 minutes/2 miles.

Punta Sur (Ixchel Mayan temple) – Known as the wife of the Sun, Ixchel is considered a fertility and love goddess with great healing powers. Even though time and weather have impacted the temple, it remains as a fascinating example of Pre-Columbian structures with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea. 7 minutes/3 miles.

Hacienda Mundaca–This hacienda dates back to 1860 when its creator, the pirate Fermin Mundaca Marechaga, took refuge in Isla Mujeres after facing the British Army and found inspiration from the love of a native woman. Discover the lifestyle of the time and the legend of a great love. 9 minutes/ 2 miles.

Garrafon Natural Reef Park– Garrafon is a gorgeous natural park highlighted by reefs, cliffs and beautiful ocean landscapes that will captivate your senses. Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, biking and flying over the turquoise waters on a zip line is available at the park. 4 minutes/ 2 miles.

North Beach– Located on the island’s northern region, less than a mile from the downtown area. At this beach you can rent all the equipment you’ll need for windsurfing. 10 minutes/4 miles.

X-Plor Park – This brand-new adventure park located in the jungles of the Riviera Maya features a zip line course, an underground river, an amphibious jeep, rafting and more. 55 miles/ 1 hour 40 min.

X-Caret (Eco-Archaeological Park) – Learn about the Mayan culture and enjoy several family activities at this ecological/archaeological theme park. 55 miles/1 hour 40 min.

Xel-Ha (Eco-Aquatic Park/Archaeological Site) – Enjoy this aquatic adventure through lagoons and caves while taking in the ancient Mayan culture including intact artifacts of the past. 75 miles/ 2 hours 35 min.

Tulum Mayan Ruins – These ruins, located in one of the most important cities during its time, are among the most popular sites to visit. See ancient artifacts, pyramids, a beach and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea from a cliff-top. 90 miles/ 2 hours 50 min.

Coba Mayan Ruins – Coba is located deep in the jungle and boasts the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan peninsula. 120 miles/ 3 hours

Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins – These Mayan ruins include several restored ancient structures, pyramids and excellent views of Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is one of the most impressive of all the Mayan ruins and was named as one of the 7 wonders of the world. The pyramid and other historical ruins are located in the middle of the jungle and are part of an extensive tour of the area. 135 miles/ 3 hours.

Arrecife Manchones – A coral bank that stretches for 7 miles and 2,320 feet wide. Guests can dive while observing a great variety of marine flora and fauna. 10 minutes/5 miles.

Sleeping Shark Cove–  This is a popular diving destination which has baffled marine biologists everywhere. Sharks must constantly be in motion in order to breathe through their skins, but in this cave, sharks can use bubbles from underwater springs to breathe, allowing them to “sleep” completely still. The cave allows divers to get close to the resting sharks. Nurse sharks are most commonly seen in the cave and, although they are harmless, it is exhilarating to be able to swim so close to them. 9 minutes/4 miles.

Deluxe Yacht Services

Deluxe Yacht transportation on a complimentary basis is available for hotel guests on arrival and departure days from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (subject to weather conditions).  The yacht is a private 40-foot catamaran named Cocoon. Service is available all year round (subject to weather conditions). Surcharges apply from 10:31 p.m. to 5:59 a.m. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to guarantee this service. Yacht capacity 13 PAX. For Yacht transfer arrangements, guests must contact: reservations1.zvrim@zoetryresorts.com or frontdesk.zvrim@zoetryresorts.com with arrival/departure flight information. 

The meeting point is the dock at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort.

Guests arriving at Zoëtry Villa Rolandi via their own yacht or boat may dock their vessel at Zoëtry Villa Rolandi’s private dock free of charge. Reservations must be made in advance at frontdesk.zvrim@zoetryresorts.com. 

Late arrivals or early departures can be requested with anticipation. There are two alternatives to reach the hotel after our regular yacht operating hours:

1.       Zoëtry private yacht “Cocoon” (charter service)

• From 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m..Surcharges apply from 10:31 p.m. to 5:59 a.m., the supplemental charge for a one-way trip is USD $100.00

2.      Board the public ferry Ultramar**

• Operating hours are from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30pm. Average cost per passenger is USD $8.00

**This is also the alternative in case Zoëtry Villa Rolandi’s yacht is not allowed to sail due to weather conditions or the closure of the port for small vessels.
